The creature kneeling by the bedside is a Hyren. They haven't featured much in the story before, except for a brief glimpse during Silia's flashback.
You may notice the feet of this hyren (Taela) are rather odd, that is, she has practically no feet. Not all hyrens have tapered feet, and it is said that the hyren with tapered feet are the descendants of the ones who defied Silia and were accordingly cursed by her. As can be expected, such odd feet makes it difficult for tall beings such as the Hyren to walk upright. They do it with careful balance and delicate steps. If they want to run, they are obliged to drop on all fours to do it.
The hooded figure on the other side of the bed is of course a Havenshealer.
